1. Payments processed by Paddle
Purchases made through the Aevro website are processed by Paddle.com, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record.
Paddle handles payment processing, applicable taxes, billing, subscription management, refunds, and payment-related customer support.
Refund requests for purchases processed by Paddle must be submitted through Paddle.
You can manage your purchase, subscription, cancellation, or refund request through the link included in your Paddle purchase confirmation email or by visiting Paddle.net.
Paddle's own Refund Policy also applies to transactions processed by Paddle.
2. Refund eligibility
Except where required by applicable law or otherwise approved by Paddle, payments for Aevro subscriptions and digital services are generally non-refundable once access to the service has been provided.
However, you may be eligible for a refund in circumstances including:
- where applicable consumer protection law gives you a right to withdraw from the purchase;
- where the service was materially defective or was not provided as described;
- where you were charged incorrectly or more than once for the same purchase;
- where Paddle determines that a refund is appropriate under its refund policy; or
- where Aevro agrees that exceptional circumstances justify a refund.
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights available to you under applicable law.
3. Consumer withdrawal rights
Depending on your country of residence, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within a specified period.
For example, consumers in the European Union, European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom may have a 14-day statutory withdrawal right for certain digital services and subscription purchases, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
Other countries may provide different mandatory cancellation or refund periods.
Where local law provides stronger consumer rights than this Refund Policy, the applicable local law will prevail.
Paddle determines and processes statutory withdrawal requests for transactions for which it acts as Merchant of Record.
4. Subscription renewals
Aevro subscriptions may automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the next renewal date.
Cancelling a subscription prevents future renewal charges. Cancellation does not normally provide a refund for a billing period that has already started.
Unless required by applicable law or approved by Paddle, we do not provide partial or prorated refunds for unused time remaining in a subscription period.
You will normally retain access to the paid features until the end of the period for which you have already paid.
5. Free trials
If an Aevro subscription includes a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial ends, unless otherwise clearly stated before purchase.
If you do not wish to continue with the paid subscription, you must cancel before the trial converts into a paid subscription.
Where applicable law provides additional withdrawal rights after a free trial converts into a paid subscription, those rights will apply.
6. How to request a refund
For purchases made through Paddle, you can request a refund by:
- using the Manage subscription or Manage transaction link contained in your Paddle purchase confirmation email; or
- visiting Paddle.net and submitting a refund request.
Paddle may ask for information necessary to identify the transaction and determine refund eligibility.
If approved, refunds are normally returned to the original payment method where possible.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment method, bank, and country.
7. Cancelling your subscription
You may cancel an Aevro subscription at any time.
For subscriptions purchased through our website and processed by Paddle, cancellation is available through the Paddle customer portal accessible from your purchase confirmation email or through Paddle.net.
Once cancelled:
- your subscription will not renew for another billing period;
- no further subscription payment will normally be collected; and
- you may continue using paid Aevro features until the end of your current paid period, unless your access is terminated for another lawful reason.
Deleting your Aevro account or uninstalling the application does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
8. App Store and Google Play purchases
This Refund Policy applies primarily to purchases made through aevro.io and processed by Paddle.
If you purchase an Aevro subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, your payment is processed by the applicable platform.
Refund requests for those purchases must generally be submitted directly to Apple or Google and are governed by their respective payment and refund policies.
Aevro cannot directly issue a refund for a transaction controlled exclusively by Apple or Google.
9. Fraud and refund abuse
Refunds may be refused where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, abuse, repeated manipulation of refund procedures, unauthorized use, or other conduct prohibited by Aevro's Terms of Service or Paddle's terms.
This does not affect any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
10. Loss of access after a refund
If a subscription payment is refunded, access to the corresponding Aevro paid features may be terminated immediately or adjusted to reflect the refunded transaction.
Any remaining access will be determined by the status of your subscription and applicable law.
